Micro-plastic Pollution: Microfibre is predominantly composed of synthetic materials, primarily polyester and polyamide. When these fabrics are laundered, they release tiny microfibres into the water. These minuscule fragments evade capture by wastewater treatment plants, ultimately finding their way into oceans and waterways. There, they contribute to the pervasive issue of micro-plastic pollution, posing a severe threat to aquatic life and ecosystems.
